Who We Are

  • The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is an 1200+ member organization representing business in the Coastal Bend region of South Texas. A 31 member Board of Directors forms the policy level of the organization. The President/CEO and a dedicated team of 8 staff members manages the operations and daily work of the Chamber. Additionally, we have a 501c3 supporting organization, The United Corpus Christi Chamber Foundation which operates programs devoted to leadership, education and workforce development. Our members and volunteers represent a cross section of all types and sizes of business in our community.

The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, was fortunate to have been served by two significant business organizations for over 100 years. In December 2015, the memberships of the 100-year-old Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and the 78-year-old Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce reached a conclusion of historic significance. In an overwhelming vote by both memberships, the two groups created one, new and united organization to represent the entire Corpus Christi business community. This joining of rich histories, significant accomplishments and a commitment to board diversity with women and minority participation reflective of the community’s demographics, provides a cohesive voice for business. As the chief advocate for the entire business community, we serve as a multidimensional model where the diversity and inclusion function is part of all facets our unified chamber.

    MISSION

We collaborate and advocate for our members to advance economic prosperity in the Coastal Bend through our membership services and signature programs.

    VISION

To create the quality of life and economic environment that promotes a vibrant, diverse, and growing region.

    DIVERSITY STATEMENT

The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce recognizes that strength comes from diversity and unification with a cultural awareness of the value of the local Hispanic legacy and culture that inspires and helps all business in the Corpus Christi region to succeed. In both its values and practices, the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is committed to the inclusion and excellence in the management of all diverse people irrespective of differences. There are no barriers to participation in any activity on the basis of economic position, gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability. Diverse perspectives are important and necessary for responsible and representative decision-making. We affirm our commitment to reflecting the diversity of Corpus Christi and the Members of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce.

What We Do

Chamber committees are formed for two reasons:

  1. To take on specific areas of work for the Chamber.
  2. To provide additional leadership opportunities for members.

Your United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce has an active group of committees that meet regularly to vet new ideas, to assist in the facilitation of Chamber programs and events, and to review and debate issues resulting in recommendations to the Board for action. Committees are chaired by a member selected by the Board of Directors and any active member of the UCCCC is eligible for committee participation. The size of the committee is determined by the Chair and varies from committee to committee. If you have a particular interest contact the Chamber team member assigned to the committee.

As always thank you for what you do to strengthen the work of YOUR United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce!
