Join the Red Cross in making your community safer! Sound the Alarm is a national event held by the Red Cross and supported by State Farm and FEMA. Our goal is to install at least 200 free smoke alarms to families in an underserved area in Corpus Christi while also providing home fire safety education through Red Cross curriculum. Our basecamp will be the Nueces County Medical Society’s office at 1000 Morgan Avenue. Both events will begin here. We will have Install Day April 20th beginning at 8 a.m. and will end when we finish installs.
