The Little Locker Project was developed with the simple concept of providing books and resources to the areas we serve. Similar to the "Little Libraries", students and community members can visit any of our Little Lockers and borrow a book to read. Each locker is filled with books and resources based on the partnership. Our Little Lockers are in the following school districts: Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Edgewood ISD, San Antonio ISD, South San Antonio ISD, Southwest ISD, Harlandale ISD, Judson ISD, Del Valle ISD, Manor ISD, Corpus Christi ISD, Gregory Porland ISD, Ingleside ISD, Sinton ISD, Taft ISD, Northside ISD, River Park in Pleasanton and Connections IFS Community Garden in New Braunfels. During the summer months we supply our Little Lockers with outdoor activities, crafts, and art projects to help encourage creativity and reduce screen time. The dates listed can be adjusted for that specific week. Please sign up for a district and then email Julie.Turner@texasyesproject.org to let us know if a different day that week works best for you. Little Locker restocking can be done at any time during the weekday or on the weekend unless otherwise stated on the shift. We ask volunteers to capture pictures (before and after) of the Little Locker, fill out the restock form and email all information back to Marissa.Moreno@texasyesproject.org.
