We are hosting the Texas FCCLA Region V Leadership Conference at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi on February 1 – 2, 2024. The conference includes leadership workshops, motivational speakers, and various competitions for our student members that are from the southwest part of Texas (what we call Region V). Our need is for volunteers to judge the competitions. Each volunteer would need to bring a device (laptop, tablet, etc.) to score the competitors. Lunch will be provided for volunteers on Friday. Below are our needs:
Thursday, February 1: up to 3 volunteers needed from 12:00 p.m. until about 6:00 p.m.
Friday, February 2: up to 60 volunteers needed beginning at 8:00 a.m.; various end times depending on which competition they get placed in, generally around 5:00 p.m. or earlier
Attached is a list of the competitions if the volunteers have a specific area of interest/expertise. Some competitions require certain experience (Culinary, Fashion, etc.), but most are open.
