Join us for a Spring Break family friendly celebration of Backyard Science happening on March 12th from 5pm-8pm, and we need volunteer help to show our youngest scientists how exciting their very own backyards can be!
This event is our chance to create a full gala-style experience for our littlest scientists – this year’s theme being Backyard Science. To make this event happen smoothly, we truly need your help to show our community youth how exciting their environment can be!
Hands-on volunteers can help with:
- outdoor games in the Plaza and tabletop games in the Lecture Hall
- assisting families with picnic style eats and sweets
- supporting guests as they explore the museum
- movie ushers for the McGregor Theatre
- photographer/social media content creator
- engineering enthusiasts in the Collaboratory
- and friendly faces to motivate and support our staff
We will have dinner for staff and volunteers prior to the start of the event – a great way to meet everyone before the fun begins!
