It’s a FREE event hosted at our KEDT Studios (3205 South Staples Street) that brings together area organizations for a fun-filled day with educational hands-on activities, a very special visit from some of your favorite PBS Kids characters.
Corpus Christi Solid Waste Services will be providing recycling services for this event in an effort to capture any water bottles and aluminum cans for reuse in recycle processing. Diverting these items from our landfill will help reuse our community resources effectively and promote a sustainable culture in our city. Volunteers are needed to help encourage sustainable thinking by festival goers by reminding them to recycle their appropriate waste items while in attendance. The event is outdoor so please expect warm weather and walking/standing for the volunteer shift.
