Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Support: Manage and distribute ice supplies across the venue.

Venue Care: Keep the area clean and welcoming by clearing and replacing full trash bins.

Support: Fill in at various stations to cover short volunteer breaks or assist areas needing extra hands.

What you'll do:

Pack up leftover HEB products, CTC items, and sponsor banners.

Break down tables, chairs, and site infrastructure.

Consolidate water stop supplies into the Penske trucks.

Clear trash to restore the venue.

What you'll do:

Greet riders and distribute water, drinks, and snacks.

Prep refreshments (like cutting fruit) and keep the snack tables fully stocked.

Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for tired participants.

As riders cross the finish line, direct them to the designated medal tent.

• Hand Out Medals: Volunteers stationed under the tent will hand the finisher medals directly to the participants.

• Note: You are not required to place the medals around the riders' necks; simply hand them over for a seamless, efficient process.

The T-shirt/Jersey team will hand out the correct pre-selected shirt sizes. For riders who purchased a premium jersey, verify their size and hand it to the runner. Volunteers will also help break down empty cardboard boxes once box is empty.
Note: All merchandise is pre-ordered and a final sale (volunteers will not process any returns, refunds, or exchanges).

As the first person our cyclists see, you will welcome participants and officially check them into the event. Your main tasks include: 

This job takes place on the shaded front patio at Brewster Street Icehouse (Downtown), and you are welcome to complete your shift either sitting or standing.

Help keep our riders fueled and energized!

Volunteers will verify participant food bracelets and distribute pre-cooked meals and snacks at the food tables. Food is exclusively for registered riders, event volunteers, and Chamber staff unless explicitly advised otherwise

Please note: This role focuses entirely on wristband checks and food service; no cooking or food preparation is required.

Help us bring the event to life behind the scenes! We are looking for a hands-on crew to assist with setting up the venue and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What you’ll do:

Assist with arranging tables, chairs, and tents 

Help hang sponsor banners and directional signage around the venue.

Manage entry points to safely guide vehicle traffic and arrivals.

Lend a hand with other light site-preparation tasks as needed.

Serve as the go-to team member ready to jump in where needed most. Your tasks will change throughout the shift and may include running extra merchandise or water to other volunteer stations, assisting with area cleanup, helping riders navigate the venue, and filling in at check-in or gear tables during busy rushes. This is a highly flexible role perfect for those who like variety and helping out where it counts.

Parking: There is a (free) guest parking lot located at Leopard and Waco St., and there are (paid) metered parking along Leopard Street in front of the building.

Entering: The Chamber has a door to the outside (facing the Cowboy Bail Bonds on Leopard), and while the door stays locked - there is a door bell if no one is at the front desk at the moment you arrive.
