We have a Fiesta Committee that meets January through August each year. Come join a fun group of people who are working to plan our major fundraiser.  Tasks of the committee are: securing the venue, planning the menu, gathering auction items, arranging speakers and testimonies, planning fun games, and ensuring that the event goes smoothly. This event funds our summer and fall adventures each year. The more hands, the merrier! Come join us.

Join us on a 3-7 day camping trip to a Texas State Park and explore the outdoors with us. Activities include at least two of the following: Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, Fishing, Canoeing, Kayaking and Rock Climbing, Bouldering, and much more. Each activity provides "challenge" and encourages youth to stretch themselves beyond their self-imposed limits through facing that challenge. These activities encourage the evolution of judgment, personal responsibility, and awareness of group needs. The trip includes reflection, evaluation and goal review to help the youth derive meaning from what they have experienced and how the experiences apply to their lives.

We welcome all volunteers eager for a water adventure. Join us on a day trip to either the Nueces River at Labonte Park or in the Bay of Corpus Christi. Trained staff teach basic paddling strokes and water safety onshore before the group enters the water and continues to teach and assist while traveling the body of water. This is a fun day-trip filled with wildlife and growing together as a team.

Volunteers are welcome to join staff in running afterschool programs from 4-6pm (times may vary). These are two-hour team-building activities held at local recreation centers, schools, parks, and other sites around the Coastal Bend. Activities are fun, hands-on, interactive games and challenges focused on developing and enhancing basic life skills.

Trained or interested facilitators/belayers needed to assist with low and high elements on our Ropes Course throughout the year. Our Challenge Course is located off of I-37 (30 min drive from Corpus Christi).

Come out to the ropes course for a fun filled day-trip. These usually occur on the weekends where youth participate in low and high elements. Low element activities are on the ground which foster teamwork, overcoming challenges, and support. The high elements are rock-climbing and walking across cables suspended 35 feet in the air (facilitated by trained and certified belayers), focusing on overcoming fears, problem-solving, and pushing yourself to new limits in a safe and controlled way.
