Coastal Bend Bays Foundation

Since our establishment in 1991, the Coastal Bend Bays Foundation (CBBF) is a nonprofit that has been dedicated to protecting the biological health of Texas Coastal Bend bays and estuaries. We are proud to have secured the "Estuary of National Significance" designation for Corpus Christi and the surrounding bays, a crucial achievement that paved the way for the establishment of our partners, the Coastal Bend Bays and Estuaries Program, Inc.
Educate, raise awareness, and provide necessary tools for our community to thrive! CBBF has since been at the center of water and natural resource issues in the Coastal Bend helping raise awareness about and find equitable solutions for people, industry, agriculture, and wildlife. Our FREE community programs including Coastal Issues Forums, coastal cleanups and Earth Day-Bay Day, keep the public informed about the urgent need for conservation of natural resources and the protection of natural habitats, while our Conservation and Environmental Stewardship Awards recognizes/raises awareness about amazing efforts happening in our Coastal Bend.
