Volunteers are the heart of Harbor Hospice, providing a special kind of caring and compassion for our patients and their families.  Whether you have time to read to a patient, lend an ear, help them write or tell their life story or simply to provide companionship, it takes a very special, caring person to give of themselves as unselfishly as our Harbor Hospice patient care volunteers.   Harbor Hospice has opportunities for volunteers at the In-Patient Unit in Portland, TX, flexible days/ times to help greet patient families.
