Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Coastal Bend Food Bank! We appreciate your support in helping us serve our community.
This event is for our upcoming mobile distribution. During this time, you will be assisting to load food into neighbors vehicles or assist with traffic control.
Here are a few important reminders before your shift:
-Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
-Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in and instructions.
-This is a drive-up food distribution—volunteers will place food into the trunks or back seats of vehicles.
-The pace can be quick at times, and you should be comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds.
-We’ll be working outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes.
